Tomorrow none of us can make it to the airport to see him off. And he always says he doesn't need us to do so. He considers the process of hugging, waving and crying as an unnecessary burden ( I doubt it). Whatever, as long as we're close friends, I sincerely wish I could say sweet goodbyes and see him disappear through those doors.
Baby I don't know if you're gonna struggle with your emotions like I did or just feel excited to start a new chapter of your life. Will five of us still write madly hilarious notes on our very private Facebook or will everybody be too busy solving their intricate problems? No matter how things might turn out, I'll be there for you even if you say you don't need me to. But I'm not gonna worry too much because according to your "philosophy". you own the power that makes people love you, and on top of that, getting 100 new friends is not something difficult right :)).
There are little secrets I haven't told you about. When you were waiting for the medical papers, I was dead worried and therefore texted your Mom to ask if she knew anything. Then we talked, I mean, we exchanged messages about your health, things like friendships and relationships, how we all care for you dearly. You know how sweet your Mom was? She told me to bring a big coat the next day we went out since it would be so freezing.
I'm pretty sure you know how much you are loved. Because deep inside, under all the oddest layers of clothes, you are such an adorable person. Because apart from the annoyance we constantly give one another, we are all your friends. Because once I forgave you for making me shed too many tears, I am your friend, as simple as that.
Ok so it's time to be clichéd: Good luck with your studying and everything. Eat a lot like I do! Do some exercising and let your frailty strengthen you all the way through. Be strong sweetheart!
(In case people don't know, my friend here is the luckiest boy in the world, which means his Dad is literally taking him to Australia tomorrow. He flies a Boeing 777 - I mean really!)
